Still Working Things Out

If ya missed me sorry,If not here I am anyway.
Took a few shot at the big house today and figured it's time to share with ya.
Time is still at a premium, just not enough to get all I want done.

Merry Christmas to all...From "lifeat6000feet"

The bedroom is starting to take shape.

A look towards the master closet and bath.

I commissioned the system last week.

The combiner box from the roof array.

The inverter and AC voltage panel.

I'll be working the rest of the year,But will keep ya updated as I get time.
and that's the way it is.

  4. Hey Jess,

The boards go up quick. but don't let them sit around for long as they like to curl in this climate.
Stain before nailing and use a 2" finish nail.
    tell Nick I said hello.
    cheers.

  7. Merry Christmas TexasMan.

This is part of the DC section.
The tall gray box is a 200 amp main breaker for the battery banks, The white device with cooling fins is a 60 amp MPPT charge controler.

    cheers

  8. Learn a little every day even if I am getting closer to 72! If my father-in-law had done this it would not have looked like that! I won't say the old Texas colloquial saying but that is the way he does things...not neat like your work.

Hope you and your family had a Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!

  10. Hey B, no blogging in a while, I know you aren't dead, I've seen your truck around, LOL!

How did you do in the great freeze of 2011? We need to print up t-shirts about that. We got down to 0 for 2 nights, all of our stuff froze but nothing broke, we had a 1.5x4x4 foot ice cube on our porch, that was the water in our small tank just outside the kitchen. PB is putting insulation around that tank so hopefully that will not happen again.
